Diffusion Optics Technology™ integrates thousands of light scattering elements called dots that mimic more natural contrast at all distances.
Higher levels of myopia are associated with an increased risk of sight-threatening eye conditions later in life.1 The aim of myopia management is to slow the progression of myopia to help preserve eye health and vision.

SightGlass Vision has partnered with 14 independent clinical research centres across North America to scientifically evaluate the performance of DOT lenses in the CYPRESS clinical trial. CYPRESS is a 3-year clinical trial that enrolled 256 myopic children aged from 6-10 years old. CYPRESS is the only spectacle lens study to demonstrate a significant slowing of myopia progression over 3 years in a multi-centre, multi-ethnicity study with children as young as 6 years old.1

DOT lenses are recommended for myopic children from 6 to 13 years of age.
It is recommended that children wear their DOT spectacle lenses for all waking hours and for all activities except swimming or contact sports. Minimum recommended daily wear time is 10 hours.
DOT lenses are easy to wear and well-accepted by children.
98% of children on the clinical study were successfully dispensed with DOT spectacle lenses.1

DOT lenses are designed to provide full vision correction and slow down myopia progression.
In a clinical trial, DOT spectacle lenses provide visual acuity of 6/6, (20/20) or better, similar to conventional single vision lenses.1*
DOT lenses are suitable for most myopic children. Your Eye Care Practitioner will be able to determine your child’s suitability after a full eye examination.
DOT lenses are available in selected regions, please contact your Eye Care Practitioner for more information.
